Nuanu Creative City is proud to announce the launch of the FOTO Bali Festival, International Photography Festival—a significant new addition to Southeast Asia’s cultural calendar. Taking place from July 26 to August 17, 2025, the inaugural edition will gather photographers, artists, visual storytellers, and lens-based practitioners from across Indonesia and around the globe.
FOTO Bali Festival invites lens-based practitioners to take part in a growing regional and international conversation around photography, a tool for art, memory, and social reflection. Set against the richly layered cultural landscape of Bali, the festival offers a curated platform for global exposure, curatorial dialogue, and community connection.

This festival primarily showcases photography and storytelling projects through a dynamic mix of exhibitions (both indoor and outdoor), immersive talks, sharing sessions, workshops, and connection nights with professionals in the photography scene.

Photo Exhibition: LIFE
The FOTO Bali Festival 2025 is a 23-day celebration of photography at Nuanu Creative City. Featuring 34 artists from 10 countries, the festival explores art, memory, and social reflection through exhibitions, workshops, and public programs. The theme is LIFE, showcasing stories of family, nature, and culture.
Workshops
Unleash your storytelling through photography at our curated workshops. Learn from experts like Edy Purnomo, Beawiharta, Jordy Wahyudiningrat, and Veejay Villafranca.
